I'm writing a journal entry for Summer Scream 'cause I forgot to bring the camera! I left it sa van. Grrr. So, no SSS elims pictures from me. :(

Ahh wait, before going on to that...

We had a Deathnote photoshoot earlier yesterday. Me and the other ID people. Naks! Feeling ID na ako ah LOL! Wala pa, 1 month pa before college. Anyway, that was from around 8AM to 4PM. It was super hot! And to think most of us had to wear black! And I had leather pants on!!! And there were times when we had to stay under the sun!!! Yup, Deathnote talaga. WE WERE WEARING OUR DEATH COSTUMES!! Yeah. Wanna see some pics? 1. 2. 3. Click on those. :)

Gosh was I really exhausted after that. So after all of it, the gang went to Starbucks Rockwell to give ourselves a break. I also dressed up there na rin for the gig. After Starbucks, at around 5:30PM, they dropped me off at Pier 1. Then the battle was brought on! =))

Battle of the bands ah. Heheh. :) Met up with the girls there. We kind of had the butterflies 'cause we didn't practice for this. We didn't even know what to play! Hahah pasaway Bestidas. Tsk tsk. Anyway, we decided to play Carousel and Lady Marmalade. And we sucked. For me ah. It's my honest opinion, so don't think I'm really fishing for compliments. =)) LESSON LEARNED: Practice right before a gig. As in before going to the gig itself. Or the day before. Especially if the members suffer from short term memory loss. LOL.

The other bands were great too. I especially liked the performance of Saving Ashley. As always. Naks. And shempre, kapangalan ko. Haha just kidding. :)) I liked their original song, na LSS ako. Haha!

Then there was this band called Keno turns Pink. Kenosis and Pink Salad Days put together I think. They were good. They had a violinist as sexy as her S-shaped violin! Hahaha LOL pero astig astig. :p

There. Those were a few of the many memorable things that happened. :p

Okay, then the announcement came:

5th place: Fill in the Blanks
4th place: Lightning Fast Reflexes
3rd place: The Bestidas
2nd place: Keno Turns Pink
1st place: Saving Ashley

Which turned out wrong. One of the judges made a mistake in computing the scores. Nabawasan kami ng 10 points! Haha!! So yeah, here's the revised list of winners:

5th place: Fill in the Blanks
4th place: Lightning Fast Reflexes
3rd place: Keno Turns Pink
2nd place: The Bestidas
1st place: Saving Ashley

We won 2nd. :) so, off to the finals on June 8. And Hymn of Siren might be playing as a guest band on the 2nd elims which is on May 26. Catch us whenever? :)

My sister and I have the best summer job EVER. What we do is we stand and smile and have cute little chinese kiddos for bestfriends, and we earn big! Haha! What could be cooler, huh?

So here are shots of the two of us yesterday as Love and Berry. All over again. Lol. And I thought that was way over. :))

Okay so that job of ours took approximately 4 hours. Not bad, eh? :p RG and Erving were there to take pictures haha...Louanne dropped by too, and lent me a book. And we had lots of company to keep us from getting bored and sleepy. Well, coffee did the latter. But guys, thanks. :D

After that, my family and I ate dinner at Dulcinea (pronounced as DOOLKEENEE haha jk). I really really REALLY love their salpicao. It's just...heaven on earth! Hahaha. After eating, we watched The Reaping, which I thought was a nice movie. It's got a religious theme...and basta...it's a good watch. :) Don't wanna spoil it for you guys, so you gotta go to a cinema near you! Hahah ok.

We were on our way back to the car when I saw this sign by the escalator that said "Thank you for not loitering". Uhh WHUT? Is it just me or are we not allowed to loiter around the mall? Hmm, or maybe I'm just that stupid to have misunderstood? Well, either way...somebody enlighten me please. :))


WHAT. THE. HELL. After having been told countless times of my resemblance to Katrina Halili, this suddenly comes out in the newspaper.
